6 little things that will better your life

Sean BowerWho doesn’t want a better, happier, more enjoyable life?

As a member of The Midas Legacy, you’ve already proven yourself to be someone striving for self-improvement and a better situation – one of the noblest pursuits in life.

And that’s why I want you to try these 6 little things that will make each and every day of 2016 and beyond better for you…

1. Read an inspiring quote

OK, I’ll admit that this is kind of cheesy, but do yourself a favor and give this a try. Reading a good quote every day can help to put things in perspective and help you fill both purposeful and in the right frame of mind.

Just pick out a website or 2 that offer daily quotes, and read that sometime early on each day.

2. Say “No”

I’ve covered this slightly before, but once again I want to discuss the importance of saying “no” in the right situations. Don’t just go along with what’s happening no matter what, don’t agree to do something for someone else if it’s going to cause you much inconvenience or displeasure, and don’t do stuff you don’t want to all the time.

Saying “no” in the right situations will decrease your own dissatisfaction while empowering you at the same time.

3. Stand tall

Here’s another one that might sound silly, but try it out for a week.

Monitor yourself to make sure you’re standing and walking tall, and have good posture. This will almost instantly make you more confident, and confidence is half the battle when it comes to chasing down success.

4. Wear your “best” clothes

I say “best” in parenthesis because what I really mean is dress in the clothes you feel best in. A piece of advice I got very young is to, “dress everyday like you’re going to meet the love of your life for the first time.”

It’s incredible what this does. If you dress like that, you’ll always feel more confident and better about yourself.

5. Unclutter your life

Subconsciously, having a cluttered home, vehicle, etc. will add stress and a feeling of unease to you on a daily basis. Take part of a day and dedicate it to uncluttering as much as possible, then do your best to keep it uncluttered thereafter.

Open space, having things “in order”, and having a consistently clean environment around you will liberate your mind from that subconscious stress while giving you a continuous feeling of accomplishment!

6. Compliment others

Complimenting others will make you feel like a nicer, better person in general, as well as put the people around you in a better mood. And a nice side product of this is that people will often reply with genuine compliments to you.

So go ahead and try out these 6 little things in your daily routine and see how much better your life can be…
