The secret to turning your passion into cash

Jim_SamsonI’m passionate about helping members of The Midas Legacy find financial success, no matter which way each individual wants to go to find it. And I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to turn that passion into a career.

But I’m not a “special case” just because I took something I loved and benefited from it.

Here’s a simple secret to easily cashing in on whatever your passion is…

Do you love fishing? Is fashion your thing? Do you enjoy working out, biking, hiking, etc.?

Honestly, it doesn’t really matter what you love to do.

There’s an easy, honest, and cheap way to turn your passion into cold hard cash. And this isn’t some made up theory that’s never been tested before. Thousands of people have used this very strategy to make easy money.

So what’s this simple secret?

E-books.

Here’s a quick checklist of everything creating an e-book entails:

  • All you need is your own experiences and knowledge of a topic,
  • It’s virtually free to create,
  • You get to put your own, unique twist on your topic,
  • You don’t have to be an “expert”,
  • If you want to research the topic even more, the Internet almost certainly has what you need, and
  • You get to pick the price for which you sell it.

Let me give you an example of how I would create my e-book…

OK, let’s say that I really enjoy cooking. More specifically, I love to grill. How do I take my passion for grilling and monetize it? An e-book, of course.

The first thing I would do is come up with an angle for my e-book that would separate it from all the other e-books about grilling. What can I offer to readers interested in grilling that practically nobody else can?

Do I have a special ingredient? Do I wrap everything I cook in bacon? Do I know the perfect side dishes and cocktails to go with everything grill-able?

I take whatever little quirk I use in my grilling and create my e-book:

How to Grill ANYTHING With Bacon!

The contents will be my grilling experiences, trials and tribulations, best recipes, step-by-step instructions on how I grill everything with bacon, etc.

If I need any help with safety disclaimers or something like that, I can easily find it on the Internet.

In not time, I have my completed e-book with a unique twist.

Then all I have to do is make it for sale on websites like Amazon.com, or find a good audience for my e-book and advertise it to them.

It’s really that simple. And you also don’t have to limit yourself to creating an e-book about something you love. Perhaps you’re very experienced with handling misbehaved dogs because you used to work at a kennel, or maybe you’re incredibly interested in the history of scotch whisky so you want to research it anyway.

Virtually anything is an e-book waiting to be created.

So, what are you passionate, knowledgeable, or curious about…?
