Stealing it and Other Shady Dealings
Since I’m covering all ways of getting rich, we should mention that the other methods of making money are to marry into it, inherit it (or be given it), or to steal it. Stealing it is obviously not the answer! I will even state firmly here that any form of shady business is also beneath you. Do not even begin to think that you can ‘get rich quick’ by operating a disreputable company selling junk products or services – you won’t – you are far more likely to go broke trying. It is so much easier to run ascrupulously honest and fair business than it is to lie awake at night worrying when your little ‘scam’ will be exposed.
So, needless to say, everything I’m teaching you here is 100% legal.
- Although some wouldn’t think so, purely because the money comes so suddenly and in such quantity. I’ve had bank managers question my account before- they couldn’t understand how a business bank account could get so bloated with gain in its first year. That’s not what their manual says; new businesses are supposed to lose money in their first year! Not this one, Mr. Bank Manager, not this one…
The Ultimate Home Business…
So now that we’ve disposed of ‘working for the man,’ luck, and crime as methods of getting rich, that only leaves running your own business, unless you are lucky enough to marry into money or receive a large inheritance. But which business? There are tens of thousands of possibilities.
Compared to working in a typical job, making money in this business is a gift. And you know what the best bit is? You’re not working to make somebody else rich. No slogging away for eight hours a day, five days a week for the next 20, 30, 40 years of your irreplaceable life to line somebody else’s pockets whilst all you get is a miserly wage. No. Running your own show means all that you make, you keep. You can easily make 20 times what you’re earning now for no more extra work than you normally do.
You can run this business part-time at first (evenings or weekends) until you have proved to yourself that it works, and then move into it full time. This way you don’t need to risk giving up your job until you’re making enough money to sustain your current lifestyle. NO Staff
Having staff is a pain in the neck. Even good staff can be a burden and we have had good staff. You constantly have to motivate them; make sure they are writing that letter you asked them to, rather than sending a quick e-mail to their friends. You have to check that they’re not running up your phone bill chatting to their boyfriend/girlfriend/friend about how many beers they had last night before they fell over in the street.. Oh, and as politicians are constantly ‘improving’ things for workers, you could be employing people on terms that suit you only to find that things have changed, literally overnight. Like paid vacations becoming law for temporary and part-time workers, and it’s just tough luck if you haven’t budgeted for this. In contrast to this nightmare, this operation can be started in your spare time, with just one person: you.
NO Premises
I have a terrible commute to get to work each day: I actually have to walk around my swimming pool to get to my office. Yes…walk!
Seriously, if ever there was a ‘home business’, this has to be it. I have never known a business where you never have to meet a supplier or customer in person and never even have to leave the house if you don’t want to.
Working from home is so much better than renting office space because you would have to generate a lot more capital each month to cover these expenses, whereas you’re already paying for your home. Once you are making a lot of money you can purchase or rent an office if you feel the need.
Another great thing about not having business premises is that it makes your company so much more mobile. This business is so mobile you could run it whilst sunbathing on a beach. What could be better than fattening your bank account whilst getting a suntan…?
NO Huge Initial Outlay
Spending $150,000 to start a business is fine if you have that kind of money to begin with, but I bet you don’t have an outlay of that sort to risk on a new venture. And what do you get for your $150,000? A fascinating, rip-roaring company where you’re chauffeured around in a limousine? No. You
could probably just about get a small shop or very small and barely proven franchise that you work hard in, probably harder than if you worked for someone.
This may seem incredible, but a lot of business ventures don’t make that much money, and the owner of it would actually work less and earn more if they were employed. I think you’ve got tobe crazy to want to make a trifling wage just so that you can run your own show. Making 20K a year would not make me leap out of bed in the mornings – I would have to drag myself out – like most wage slaves.
