Avoid the real scams out there

Jim_SamsonI can tell you from experience that credibility is easily one of the most important aspects of any business. If you aren’t perceived as legitimate, having the greatest product in the world will be of no use.

And the truly depressing reality of it all is that many of the businesses that give a “stamp of approval” are the true scams.

If you can spare a few minutes of your time, I’d like to show you exactly what I mean, and discuss how YOU can make sure you never ever get taken advantage of by a scam…

So what is a scam?

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a scam is “a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation.”

But to give it a more casual definition, I believe many of us think of a scam in the same context that Supreme Court justice Potter Stewart famously defined pornography: “I know it when I see it.”

In short, a scam is where you pay for something that is promised by an offer, then that promise is not kept and you simply lose your money.

So with all of that in mind, allow me to move the conversation to how all of us here at The Midas Legacy have successfully built up our credibility to the highest standard…

For the sake of conciseness, I’ll shorten it to just 3 things:

1. We keep our promises.

Everything we promise, we deliver. And even if a particular customer doesn’t take the time to fully read or listen to what a particular offer is promising, we always include a refund option when applicable in case someone is expecting something other than what they receive. That’s how we keep our members happy!

2. We walk the talk.

We have successfully used every single Midas Legacy product. We aren’t like the other guys who talk about making money from some system or scheme without ever having made money from it themselves. We walk the talk, and that means successfully using each and every one of the Midas Legacy products we promote.

3. We distance ourselves from the scams.

This is perhaps the most important part – making sure we don’t get caught up with the scams out there. And yes, that includes the “stamp of approval” businesses that take money in return for a good score, rating, etc.

For instance, I recently received an email from a customer who asked me why the Better Business Bureau doesn’t accredit The Midas Legacy and why we haven’t become a member with them.

My response was simple…

Here at The Midas Legacy, we take the time to make sure we don’t deal with any scams. And unfortunately, the Better Business Bureau has a flawed track record that’s kept us from registering with them for the sake of showing our customers that we will never buy our ratings or credibility.

But you don’t have to take my word for it…

ABC News conducted a 20/20 investigation that revealed some shocking truths about the Better Business Bureau.

You can formulate your own opinion about the BBB after watching, but even the Connecticut Attorney General, Richard Blumenthal, has said about the BBB that, “this rating system is really unworthy of consumer trust or confidence.”

Blumenthal also stated that the Better Business Bureau rating system was, “potentially harmful and misleading” to customers.

Hopefully it’s now clear why we distance ourselves from the BBB as much as possible.

So when you’re looking at a business and trying to decipher whether or not it’s a scam, don’t count on the accreditation businesses that give out good grades for money.

Instead, look at whether or not the company in question has been given a legitimate grade or rating from an unbiased business that isn’t profiting from their rating system.
