Defeat heart problems by eating this…

MarkedwardsHealth, wealth, and happiness – those are the 3 pillars to a fruitful and fulfilled life. If any 1 of those pillars crumbles, the entire structure falls apart.

And one of the biggest threats to the health pillar is high blood pressure. It’s an epidemic that leads to all sorts of cardiovascular problems, such as heart attack and stroke.

But protecting yourself from those heart problems doesn’t have to come in the form of an unnatural pill (that probably includes all sorts of side effects). Once you start eating this natural food, you may never have to worry about your blood pressure again…

Olive oil and green, leafy vegetables – that’s the natural secret to lowering your blood pressure with ease.

A recent study by King’s College London in the United Kingdom showed that combining unsaturated fats with nitrate-rich vegetables is the key.

So unsaturated fats, like fish and nuts, paired with nitrate-rich vegetables, like lettuce, spinach, or celery, gives you the Mediterranean diet that fights high blood pressure!

By combining the 2, the result is what’s known as nitro fatty acids.

Now, nitro fatty acids help to block a certain enzyme (soluble epoxide hydrolase), which in turn inhibits particular reactions resulting in the dilation of blood vessels. In the end, lower blood pressure is obtained.

I wanted to give you a bit of the science so that you can understand the logic behind this natural wonder, but the more important part of this article is making sure you understand exactly what to put in your body in order to achieve lower blood pressure.

As I mentioned before, olive oil and leafy vegetables like lettuce do a particularly good job when paired together, but there are plenty of other options as well.

For unsaturated fats, get creative with olive oil, avocados, nuts, and fish.

And for vegetables go with some of the following, which are very high in nitrate content: arugula, spinach, lettuce, celery, watercress, cabbage, parsley, and red beetroot.

Remember, food is medicine when you have the knowledge necessary to make it so. Use that knowledge to solidify the health pillar of your life!

You’re correctly right, and I’m living on only fish, fruit and vegetable, but from now on I’ll include the olive oil.

Thanks and have a nice day!
