How YOU can feel 25 again

It’s no secret we’re aging… and with every year comes another joint cracking or back aching.

Whether your 45 or 95, you would kill to feel 25 again.

Well, you’re in luck!

I’ve discovered a way YOU can feel 25 again…

The kids these days are into some strange activities.

It took me forever to get used to Facebook, and by the time I thought I had it mastered, they were onto Instagram.

It’s impossible to keep up!

But there is one thing they’re doing that can be applied in our daily lives.

Whether you’re 45 or 95, there’s something to be learned from the younger generations.

The one thing I’ve picked up on recently is yoga.

Now, I know the stigma around yoga.

At first, people doing yoga were considered hippies, but the more it’s been studied, the more the benefits have been revealed.

It’s been proven to sharpen the mind, strengthen bones and joints, improve balance and stamina, reduce stress, improve sleep, slow aging, reduce back pain, and more!

I’m not suggesting you get into all the crazy yoga poses that would bench most people who are 45+ for weeks, but I have found 3 simple yoga poses you can practice every day.

Practicing these 3 poses will get you on your way to feeling 25 again!

Now, you may want to research these poses a little more to get visuals, but this list will get you started:

Pose #1 – Mountain Pose

This one is extremely simple.

It’s a standing pose that helps with balance and grounding.

To do mountain pose, stand tall with your big toes and heels touching each other. Draw your abdominals up and in, then relax your shoulders down and back.

Breathe five to eight breaths.

Easy enough, right?

Trust me, the poses may seem simple, but you’ll start feeling the benefits after the second or third session.

Pose #2 – Savasna

This pose greatly helps the nervous system.

Lay down on your back and relax all your limbs. Think about the floor supporting you, and make sure none of your muscles are tensed.

Breathe in and out as many times as you feel needed.

This one is all about relaxation of the body and the mind.

Do you feel calm yet?

Pose #3 – Sphynx

This one is probably the toughest of the 3, but it’s still nothing to be afraid of.

After being on your back for the Savasna pose, turn over and lay on your front.

Place your forearms on the floor and your elbows under your shoulders.

Press firmly into your arms and draw your shoulder blades together and down your back. Lift your abdominals in and up and stay for five to eight breaths.

This pose opens up your chest and helps strengthen your upper back.

And there you have it.

3 simple yoga poses that will get you well on your way to feeling 25 again!

I encourage you to look for some more yoga poses once you have these 3 mastered.
