Let Obamacare bolster your retirement funds

Jim_SamsonWhether you like it or not, Obamacare (a.k.a. the Affordable Care Act) isn’t going anywhere. That much is now more clear than ever after the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in favor of a key provision of the policy.

So you and I can either pout bout it, or we can decide that we’ll let it fund part of our retirement for us.

Here’s exactly how we could do so…

Right now we live in a country where we’re mandated to pay for healthcare. It’s that simple.

And it will likely remain that way for several years based on the current sentiment of the people who have the power to do anything about it.

So we may as well profit from it, right?

Check this out: for the next dozen years or so, baby boomers will continue to be reaching retirement age. That’s quite a lot of sustained business for big healthcare.

And with Obamacare, those baby boomers aren’t costing hospitals as much due to making them pick up the tab because the patient doesn’t have insurance. There’s an increase in the demand for care, and far fewer times that the hospitals have to pay for the care themselves.

Plus, who else stands to benefit the most if everyone is mandated to have healthcare insurance?

The health insurance companies, right?

There’s no denying that those particular situations have been a contributing force to the practically flying healthcare industry as a whole…

Healthcare has been pretty much unstoppable on Wall Street for many months now, and there’s no sign of it slowing down.

Sure, we can expect minor pullbacks when healthcare needs to catch its breath on the way up (it’s done as much before, and then immediately carried on climbing), but we can also expect continued strength from the industry.

So, if Obamacare is going to be here for some time no matter what, shouldn’t we at least bolster our own capital with it?

It’s time to find the hospitals and insurance companies benefiting the most from Obamacare. Those companies are likely to be at the forefront of serious gains in the near future, and they could lead the way to a much bigger retirement nest egg for you…
