The weight-loss trend that’s NOT just a fad…

Weight loss trends come around every few years or so.

It’s become so absurd, that we often see the same fads making their rounds from a couple decades ago… and they’re no better than they were back then.

But there’s one trend that became popular a few years ago that seems to be standing the test of time…

An easy to adopt diet that’ll shed that excess weight in no time…

The fad-proof weight loss trend I’m talking about is a ketogenic diet.

You may have heard the term “keto” before, and all the “negativities” surrounding it, but it’s a diet that really works (and you don’t have to cut out all the tasty foods you’re afraid you’ll miss).

This isn’t the type of diet where you eat nothing but lettuce and hope your body doesn’t malfunction.

In fact, many keto experts recommend a healthy dosage of bacon when on a keto diet.

Need I say more?

A diet that allows bacon… if you’re not with me after reading that, then I’m not sure what you’re looking for.

So, what’s the aim of a keto diet?

Well, obviously the general aim is to lose weight and feel healthy, but, more specifically, a keto diet focuses on a low-carb intake.

On a keto diet, you want to intake no more than 50 grams of carbs per day—ideally, you want to keep it less than 20 grams.

A very important note is that you need to make sure you’re drinking a LOT of water as you can easily become dehydrated while fighting off obesity.

These goals aren’t that hard to maintain, though.

If bacon doesn’t persuade you, take a look at this list of foods you can eat:

  • Chicken
  • Butter
  • Beef
  • Olive Oil
  • Spinach
  • Mayo
  • Lettuce
  • Avocado
  • Hot Sauce
  • Raspberries
  • Pecans
  • Blackberries
  • Strawberries
  • Macadamia nuts

See how easy it’d be to switch your diet to a keto diet?

Of course, there’s no chocolates or sweets on that list, but anybody trying to lose weight and kick obesity should know that you should steer clear of these on any diet.

But what if your family or friends want to eat fast food?

You don’t have to be left out.

Simply order some sort of grilled chicken sandwich (remove the buns) and salad. Sure, it’s not as tasty as fried chicken and french fries, but after as little as two weeks you should start seeing positive results.

A healthy body and lifestyle all start inside your head.

The mindset you have going into a diet like this needs to be as positive as it can be.

Make sure you’re constantly reminding yourself that you want to look and feel healthier, and that you’d like to get rid of or avoid obesity.

Surely you can see how easy it is to switch to a low-carb keto diet when you’re able to enjoy bacon, chicken, and other tasty foods.

Just focus on maintaining a positive mindset and ensure that you’re fully prepared with these foods stocked in your fridge.
