You should understand by now that time is money.
The most successful people are always thinking in those terms. Even when they have free time, they’re figuring out ways to turn that free time into money.
Now, I’m not saying you need to be working to earn money around the clock, but I do have a simple method for you to turn your free time into $3k+ per month…
Begin by thinking of activities that you’re motivated and inspired by.
After you’ve put together a list of activities, you want to see which topic has the most demand. And this isn’t difficult – all you have to do is use a free tool like Google Ads Keyword Planner.
This shows how many times people are searching for any given term each month. By doing this you’ll find out which of your topics has the most potential.
After you’ve decided on a topic to tackle you need to figure out what makes your angle unique. We call this a unique selling proposition (USP).
Then when you’ve decided on a topic and its USP, you need to choose a domain name. This is very simple. For example, our domain name is TheMidasLegacy.com.
To secure a domain name all you need to do is go to website like godaddy.com and it will tell you if it’s available and what it costs.
After you secure a domain name, you can start building your website.
This was once a costly and time-consuming process, but now with sites like WordPress and Wix it’s completely affordable—you can even do it yourself!
Now comes the fun part… use your thoughts to fill your website with content.
More specifically, I’m talking about blog posts. These blog posts don’t have to be very long. 400-500 words usually does the trick.
But remember: if it’s a topic that motivates and inspires you, this shouldn’t be too hard.
Once your site has 9-10 blog posts, it can start making money.
I know what you’re asking, “How will my site make money?”
There are 3 easy ways to make money from your site (I suggest looking into all 4 of them):
- Ad serving platforms like Ezoic, Adsense, and others
- Affiliate products
- Your own products if you decide to develop them (think ecourses, or something that resonates with the niche’s audience)
Now remember, this isn’t supposed to be a job… it’s making money by writing about something you love. So, don’t let it consume you and work on it as you please.
And as the content builds up… so will the traffic… which will have you pocketing $3k+ a month before you know it…
Be persistent. It can feel like a chunk of work up front, but it very quickly becomes passive once you’ve got it set up and you enjoy the topics you’re writing about. You can even start hiring freelance writers to make it completely passive.
